Crash leaves 2 charred autos at Miami Gardens gasoline station

MIAMI GARDENS, Florida. – Dramatic cell phone video shows two cars go up in flames at a petrol station in Miami Gardens on Sunday.

The video shows huge flames and heavy smoke as the crews rushed to put out the fire.

These two cars were charred and gutted by the flames at the gas station on Northwest 177th Street and Second Avenue.

A witness told Local 10 News that it all started after a man hit a woman’s car and then tried to pick it up.

“The guy hits the lady – as if he had barely hit her, but he tapped her. She gets out of the car and asks, ‘Yo, dude, what are you doing?’ He jumps in again and takes off. When he takes off, he goes through a gas pump and crashes into the other car. As soon as he hits the other car, it goes up in flames, ”said Christopher Mitchell, the witness to the incident.

Mitchell hit the kill switch, likely preventing a dire situation from getting worse.

There are no reports of injuries and it is not yet known whether anyone has been cited or arrested.
