Art exhibition in the restaurant
The Lincoln Eatery will host the first “Art Exhibition in the Eatery,” showing works by photographer Ysabel Rossi that will be for sale during the intimate exhibition. The venue will surround guests with culture and tradition as the works will be on display in the Lincoln Eatery Food Hall, which is home to more than a dozen restaurants including the C-Food Shack, Le Petit Bistro, Market Milkshake Bar, and Cilantro 27. Today (Friday) Eating House offers together with Cochon555 an individual four-course menu with beer and wine for one night. Take-away meal highlights: twice-cooked pork belly, tagliatelle al ragù, and limoncello tiramisu. Also take the opportunity to cook virtually with Giorgio Rapicavoli from Eating House on Friday evening at 6:30 p.m. via an intimate zoom experience. Brad Kilgore of Ember in Wynwood is running a similar special on Sunday, September 27th. My Cuban place at Bebito
Miami-born New York chef Louie Estrada took over Bebitos in Miami Beach with a pop-up version of his My Cuban Spot restaurant in Brooklyn. This weekend is the last chance to sample Estrada’s creations as he finishes his reception on the Cuban sandwich – aptly called El Cubano. The sandwich consists of ham, Swiss, pork, pickles and mustard on Cuban bread. Saturday is National Key Lime Pie Day, and Monty’s Raw Bar in Coconut Grove is celebrating with the purchase of a $ 7 slice of lime pie. The Miami Beach restaurant is now open – for one party per night, so guests have the entire restaurant to themselves. The Bestia family meal is available for groups of four to twelve people and includes a home-made bread service (naturally soured focaccia, sourdough country bread and grissini with a brown butter tomato spread). a whole leg of slowly braised lamb, glazed with Calabrian honey chillies and balsamic vinegar; daily rotating crudo; a whole 8-pound snapper marinated with thyme and lemon, then toasted head-on and charred until crispy; and various desserts.
