Farm Share – An organization according to 501 (c) (3), which is to distribute food to the needy, will host the event. The organization has multiple warehouses across the state of Florida.

Saturday distribution is 10 am to 1 pm at Magic City Casino at 451 NW 37th Ave. planned.

Visitors are limited to one bag of groceries per adult in the car, with a maximum of three bags being given out. These bags are placed in the trunk when individuals drive to the event.

The distribution is also a first-come, first-serve event and could end prematurely if supplies run low.

Farm Share and other organizations have been working to continue sales efforts as measures to slow the spread of the virus have impacted the economy and left many Floridians unemployed.

Although Florida is slowly starting to reopen, many restrictions remain. Farm Share has turned to drive-through sales efforts to comply with social distancing guidelines.
