Man who was attacked with firearms in Miami Seashore lived with 11 weapons in West Park, MPs say

WEST PARK, Florida. – A police team went to Risson Beaubrun at a house in West Park and found him, 11 firearms, bullets, high-capacity magazines, plate ballistic vests and oxycodone, the Broward Sheriff’s Office said Wednesday.

Beaubrun, 27, and three others were wanted in Miami Beach for grievous bodily harm with a gun. The other three were arrested at Aventura, Miramar and Pembroke Pines.

Officials arrested Beaubrun at 112 Newton Road on July 15. There was a convicted felon in the house who, according to Miranda Grossman, a spokeswoman for the BSO, was also arrested.

The Miami Beach Police Department worked with the BSO SWAT / Fugitive Task Force and the Violence Intervention Proactive Enforcement Response Unit, also known as VIPER, and the US Marshal’s Service Fugitive Task Force.

Miami Beach Police have not released any information about the attack and the three other suspects arrested.


Broward County’s court records indicate that Beaubrun was born in Port au Prince, Haiti, and was on trial for a third degree crime on January 22 for carrying a hidden gun.
