New prolonged opening hours on the Homestead Sports activities Complicated vaccination middle

Beginning Tuesday, April 27, 2021, the Miami-Dade County’s COVID-19 vaccination center at Homestead Sports Complex, 1601 SE 28th Avenue, Homestead, FL 33030, will be open daily from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. with walk-in availability. No appointment is required, but it is strongly recommended that you shorten the waiting time. The vaccine offered is the Pfizer vaccine and the second dose will be set at the time of vaccination.

Please note that individuals are required to provide ID showing proof of residence in Florida. If an individual does not have a valid Florida state ID or a valid driver’s license, they can also provide a farm laborer’s ID. Otherwise, they will need to provide two of the following documents to prove they live in Florida:

· A deed, mortgage, monthly mortgage statement, mortgage payment brochure, or a rental or leasing contract for residential property

· A utility connection or work order dated within 60 days

· An electricity bill that is no more than 2 months old

· Mail from a financial institution, including check, savings or investment account statements, that are no more than 2 months old

· Mail from a federal, state, district or municipal administration that is not older than 2 months
