MIAMI GARDENS, Florida. – A college athlete was fatally shot and two other college athletes shot in an argument at a Miami Gardens hotel.

Police said three college students were shot dead on Tuesday at the stadium hotel, north of the Hard Rock Stadium.

College athlete Fred Killings died from gunshot wounds. Trevon Jeremiah Harris, 19, who was also a student, was taken into custody.

According to the police, it all started as an argument between teammates during training. A witness claims to hear Harris say, “I have thirteen shots in my bum pocket.”

A surveillance video later revealed that Harris allegedly “dumped the gun in a toilet on the first floor.”

“As far as we know, ASA College has a soccer team that has rooms on certain floors of the hotel,” said Miami-Dade police.
